Families Now

Families Now is an intensive family preservation program exclusively serving Ulster County, New York. Operated by the YWCA Ulster County, this program offers a range of interventions aimed at providing immediate, short-term support to families facing crises. Our goal is to prevent out-of-home placements and facilitate the early reunification of youth with their families. Families with children up to 18 years old who are at imminent risk receive prioritized referrals from the Ulster County Department of Social Services.

Women's Health Initiative

No-Cost Ovarian, Cervical, and Breast Cancer Screenings: Your health is our top priority. We are committed to offering free screenings for ovarian, cervical, and breast cancer, ensuring early detection and timely intervention.
Monthly Holistic Health Care Clinics: Together with our esteemed partner, Health Care as a Human Right, we are excited to host monthly holistic health care clinics. These clinics will provide a range of integrated health services, addressing the unique needs of women, and promoting holistic well-being.
Seasonal Health Care Festival: Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of health! Our annual seasonal health care festival, in collaboration with the Holistic Health Community, promises a fun-filled day of interactive workshops, expert talks, and activities that promote a balanced and vibrant lifestyle.
