Families Now is an intensive family preservation program serving families residing in Ulster County, New York. The program’s services are offered by the YWCA Ulster County, which strives to provide intensive family preservation services to families through a variety of interventions. Families Now is designed to offer immediate (at the point of crisis), short-term (up to 6 weeks) services to families with a child or children (up to 18 years) at imminent risk of out-of-home placement or to expedite the youth’s early return to his/her family. It receives prioritized referrals exclusively from the Ulster County Department of Social Services.

A state-of-the-art child care center located at Ulster Family Court, staffed by YWCA teachers and advocates who care for children while parents and caregivers attend to court business.
